Notes
- You can use different types of tea, like black tea, white tea, or herbal tea, to make this recipe. I wanted to make it healthier, so I have used green tea here!
- This recipe is all about brewing the tea in coconut milk, and I have used full-fat coconut milk here! However, if you want, you can use different types of milk like lite coconut milk, oats milk, almond milk, or even heavy cream.
- If you prefer, you can froth the coconut milk before adding it to the serving cups.
- You can use any sweetener that you prefer instead of honey, such as granulated sugar, maple syrup, or agave nectar. You can even use coconut sugar for this recipe.
- Coconut milk tea can be served cold or hot, but I personally like to go for an iced tea.
- You can even top it up with whipped cream for that extra richness.
- Tapioca or boba pearls are completely optional, and if you want, you can skip adding these.
- You can also make this recipe with white or black tapioca pearls; it’s up to you!
Shelf Life
Coconut milk tea is best when made & served fresh! Additionally, if you are adding boba pearls, you must serve them immediately; otherwise, they will turn hard. However, to store it, refrigerate the coconut milk tea in an airtight container for up to 1 or 2 days. Add the boba pearls just before serving.

Imagine yourself sipping a cup of refreshing coconut milk tea on a sunny day; isn’t it satisfying? So, are you thinking of trying it or not anytime soon?
