What Is The Difference Between Guava Smoothie And Guava Milkshake?
Smoothies and milkshakes are loved by everyone, but do you know what’s the difference between these two? Actually, there is a difference in the method of their preparation and the ingredients used for making these two delicious beverages. This results in the difference of their flavours as well as textures!
Guava Smoothie is a delightful blend of Guava fruit, milk, any type of sweetener like maple syrup, honey, brown sugar, and different types of fruits such as bananas, mango, pineapples, etc. It might also include ice cream or ice cubes to make it more thicker and creamy! Besides, the Guava Milkshake is creamier and smoother but has a thinner texture when compared to the guava milkshake. Typically, milkshakes include the usage of ice cream.
Hence, Guava smoothies are generally thicker and can be made using different liquid bases apart from milk and when it comes to Guava Milkshakes are creamier and milk-based drinks.

Notes
- You can use milk of your preference, like almond milk, soy milk, oats milk, full-fat milk, etc. Make use of chilled milk to make this smoothie.
- For sweeteners, you can use honey, maple syrup, brown sugar, or even white sugar, whichever you prefer.
- I like to use fresh fruits while making smoothies or juices. But if you want, you can freely use frozen fruits.
- Guava seeds are completely edible, so there are no worries if you can’t remove the seeds completely. However, removing the seeds will make the smoothie more creamier!
- To make the Guava Smoothie richer, flavourful, and creamier, you can add a scoop of yoghurt or fresh cream.
- To get a chilled smoothie, you can add a few ice cubes to the blender. Also, don’t forget to keep all the fruits in the refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours before making the smoothie to make a nice, cold smoothie.
Shelf Life
It’s best to drink Guava Smoothie shortly after making it to enjoy its freshness and flavours. However, if you want to store it or have some leftovers, you can store the smoothie in an airtight container and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours.
